Google Sheets Function: COUNT

The COUNT function returns the number of cells containing numeric values within a specified range of cells.

Usage:

=COUNT(range)

Usage Example

The COUNT function will here return the number of members who made a donation by counting the number of cells containing numbers:

Enter the cell range B2 to B11 into the COUNT function to get the number of donations:

=COUNT(B2:B11)
